About the event
The Kibbutz Movement Rehabilitation Fund invites supporters and friends to join a special webinar, "Voices of the North," featuring firsthand accounts from residents of Israel’s northern kibbutzim living through the recent Iran war and the ongoing security challenges posed by Hezbollah along Israel's northern border.

Featuring
Ben Gido
Father of two, member of the Misgav Am first response team, and survivor of two near-direct missile attacks
Amir Adari
Father of three and business and rehabilitation manager of Yiftach, a border kibbutz where all of the community’s fields were destroyed by Hezbollah
Ami Philip Carol
Mother of 3, Director of Culture and Demographic Growth Coordinator
Ayelet Harris
Director of the Community Department of the Kibbutz Movement and a resident of northern Israel who oversees mental health and community resilience initiatives
After nearly two years of displacement, many northern kibbutz communities had only recently returned home and begun the difficult process of rebuilding their lives, communities, and local economies. The recent escalation has once again disrupted daily life, forcing residents back into shelters and confronting them with renewed uncertainty about the future.
Speakers will share personal experiences of returning home after prolonged evacuation, the impact of renewed conflict on families and communities, and their vision for rebuilding and sustaining vibrant life in Israel's north despite ongoing security threats.
"Voices of the North" offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from those on the front lines of resilience and recovery, gaining insight into both the challenges and the determination shaping the future of northern Israel.
