Immediately after Black Saturday, October 7, 2023, the evacuation of kibbutzim along the Lebanon border began, including 19 communities and their families. More than 15,000 members were forced to leave their homes and, for over a year, remained displaced within their own country, uncertain when they could return.

Over the past year, 18 communities have begun returning to their kibbutzim, but the journey home remains painful and complex. Burned fields, damaged homes, and dispersed communities now face the difficult task of rebuilding — and of coming together once again.

Throughout the past two years, the Rehabilitation Fund has accompanied these communities, providing both immediate support during displacement and long-term guidance for their rehabilitation and return home.

Help the northern kibbutzim now.
