Homecoming Kit

"Concept:
During the October 7 attacks, many families in Western Negev kibbutzim endured terror and fear as their worst nightmare unfolded inside their homes. Numerous houses were damaged, and the sense of safety that had defined home life disappeared in an instant. Families spent long hours in protected rooms (mamadim), often without access to food, electricity, or communication.

Response:
The Homecoming Kit was initiated by Ayelet Haris, Head of the Society and Community Division at the Kibbutz Movement. It supports families returning home, helping to restore a sense of warmth, belonging, and security. Each kit contains a variety of thoughtful items designed to offer comfort and meaning.

Contents:
Planting trowel and seeds, calming herbal tea, purification kit, cards, and a domino set.
